In a unexpected partnership that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Disclosed

According to the official announcement, "An unusual meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine cult.

The questline centers on "strange trials and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Bonus Content

Players who finish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana alongside multiple items concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
